About Hirotaka

Hi, I am Hiro, a licensed National English-speaking guide. I was born and brought up in Sapporo. I have been an official interpreter of Sapporo Asian Winter Games in 2017. I have hosted six high school students from abroad in my house for a few months each, showing many sightseeing spots in Sapporo and Hokkaido, introducing local foods, Japanese rules and manners, culture and history. I like sea fishing. So I am very familiar with many kinds of sea food in Hokkaido, how to cook them and of course how to enjoy eating them. I am a full-marathon runner. So I am good at and enjoy walking around in Sapporo, Otaru and other cities in Hokkaido.
