About Miyuki
Hello. I'm Miyuki, a nationally certified tour guide. I worked for 11 years at Wakayama City Hall, located right in front of Wakayama Castle. During that time, I served as a volunteer guide, showing visitors around Wakayama Castle and Wakaura Toshogu Shrine. In 2013, I obtained a Wakayama Prefecture guide certification and began guiding tours of Koyasan. After passing the national guide examination in 2024, I became a full-time professional guide and now conduct tours in Osaka City. However, my favorite places are Koyasan(Mt. Koya), Kumano Sanzan (the three grand shrines of Kumano), Yuasa (the birthplace of soy sauce), and Kishi Station, home to a cat stationmaster. In recent years, an increasing number of tourists have been seeking solace in Wakayama to escape the crowds of major cities. Wakayama is a spiritual destination rich in nature and off the beaten path. Why not join me in discovering these hidden gems?
