Niseko Ostrich Farm

Being able to feed an interact with a flock of ostriches is unique and fun wherever you are, but this farm in Niseko has the added allure of the beautiful Mt. Yotei looming in the background and lush fields spreading out before your eyes.  With the purchase of ostrich food (just 100 JPY per bag), you'll be able to feed and pet the ostriches, but that's not the only attraction on the farm.  Within the grounds, you'll also find the Ostrich Shop; in summer, a variety of processed goods such as ostrich meat, beef, ostrich eggs, and sweets made from ostrich eggs are available for purchase here.  In addition, freshly baked dorayaki (sweet pancake-like pastries filled with red bean paste) sandwiches can only be tasted here, so don't miss the opportunity to try one while gazing out at the vast pastures.

*To prevent the spread of communicable diseases, general admission is restricted during winter.  If you would like to visit the farm during this time, please use a guided tour (reservation required).

Tour Contents
-Guided feeding experience: Feed ostriches in an enclosed room and listen to a talk by a farm attendant.
-Feeding and pony trekking experience: In addition to feeding ostriches, you'll have the opportunity to take a walk around wintry Niseko with a pony.
-Guided tour of the ostrich farm: This tour will start you thinking about the things that you eat.  It also includes a tour of some of the farm's facilities.
