Fun place to be around if you like seafood, there's a lot of restaurants in the area as well as places to buy fish or seafood in the market. Definitely one of the more unique areas in Kanazawa.
Omicho Ichiba Market was a fun place to stop by while exploring Kanazawa. I liked walking through the different stalls and seeing all the fresh seafood and local products. Even if you don't plan on buying much, it's worth visiting to experience the atmosphere and try a few local snacks.
Huge seafood market with many different options to choose from. Everything I tried tasted so fresh. Great place to go to if you want to get fresh seafood from Japanese ports!
Omicho Ichiba Market was the first activity I attended in Kanazawa, yet it still is on my mind constantly and is a standout highlight for me. It had the freshest sea food and products imaginable, paired with a a very lively environment, it was great!
Absolute highlight of my stay in Kanazawa. The seafood here is absolutely amazing, the sushi I had was amazing, as was the other food I had there like the eel. Absolute must if you like seafood.
