Selected as a venue for the 2019 Rugby World Cup, Sapporo Dome is located in a lush green area and rich in gourmet food options. Visitors can enjoy Hokkaido specialties like Genghis Khan (Japanese grilled mutton dish) and Kaisendon (bowl of rice topped with sashimi), low calorie sandwiches made with fresh vegetables, and classic menu items, like hamburgers. It is also worth trying out takoyaki (octopus balls), ice-cream cups and other foods easy to eat on the stands (audience seating).
