Tottori Sand Dunes

This is a desert representative of Japan, and the sand dunes are open to the public all year round. As a must see in the Tottori Prefecture, it is also the largest tourist-friendly desert! With a difference of elevation of up to 90 meters, there are many ways to enjoy the sand dunes, such as “wind ripples”, beautiful patterns created by the wind, and camelback rides. In addition to the landscape, you can also try more active activities such as sandboarding, paragliding, and yoga.
