The motto of the Fukuyama Auto and Clock Museum is “Ride, see, touch, and photograph,” which allows you to first-handedly experience all of the objects that are on display there.
In a world where we mass produce, consume, and dispose of goods at a rapid rate, the director of the museum reminds us that we need to remember the natural simplicity of the past.
This is why this museum thinks that using your 5 senses is important to live in this era. In addition, the director also thinks that the era we live in is too rich and disconnected from what’s around them, which is why he encourages experiencing all of the artifacts within the museum whilst taking photos of them.
