The Magical "Sea of Fog" at Mt. Takatani in Hiroshima

A mysterious phenomenon known as the "Sea of Fog" fills the centre of Miyoshi City and its basin among the mountains. The panoramic views of the town from the peak at sunrise attract many visitors. When overlooking the beautiful clouds from the observatory, you'll view a spectacular scenery of the mountains; like floating islands in the sea. Milky white shiny clouds turn into an orange with the sun and show various scenes with blowing winds during the day.
