JAXA created the rocket center. JAXA was reorganized in 2003. JAXA is composed of three different organizations including the: National Aerospace Laboratory of Japan, the National Space Development Agency of Japan and the Institute of Space and Astronautical Science. Since it is located at the very south of Japan on an island called Tanegashima, the space center has been regarded as the most beautiful rocket launch in the world.

In 2018 February, microsatelliet experiment was succeeded

In 2018 February, JAXA sent the smallest satellites to space successfully. The length of the rocket was only 10 meters and the width about 50 cm. The purpose of this launch is expected to assist the surveillance of natural disasters and agricultural activity in Japan. The name of the microsatellite is SS-520. JAXA has successfully cut down the cost of the SS-520 rocket because it was built with some home appliances parts, according to JAXA. They have cut down costs by recycling the parts from home appliances.
