上野動物園は、上野恩賜公園の中にある動物園です。上野駅からは徒歩で約5分の場所にあります。1882年に日本で初めて開園した歴史ある動物園で、現在は3,000頭以上の動物を飼育しています。その中で一番の人気者はジャイアントパンダ。園内はパンダに適した飼育環境が整っており、のびのびと過ごす愛くるしい姿を見ることができます。

A zoo with a bunch of animals. I’ve been to it a few times and there are a lot of animals that you can look at. It is probably one of the best zoos that I have went to. If you like animals from different environments you will definitely like this zoo. One of my favorites were the night time animals they have on display, I though it was really cool to see animals of the night.
A nice zoo with a lot of exhibits that show the animals in a nice environment. Worth checking out if around the area.
A beautiful zoo not to be missed. This is Tokyo's oldest zoo and is located in a gorgeous large park that also features shrines, museums, markets, and a lake. I was excited about the low cost of this zoo which is not usually common for big attractions. I was blown away inside by how close you could get to the animals and the wonderful viewing spots available. This was a great day out and a wonderful location for all animal enthusiasts and their families, this is also a wonderful spot to see a panda! Be sure to check out the polar bears, they are very active and love to put on a show!
