The Gotenba Kogen Resort Toki no Sumika is located in Shizuoka Prefecture, near the foot of Mt. Fuji. The resort is famous for its stunning winter illuminations, but there is plenty to do year round for the whole family. Top of the list are 4 hot springs and spas and a small beer brewery. There are also numerous restaurants and sweet shops to choose from. If you are interested in being more active, you can explore countless sports facilities within the resort.

One of the most memorable parts of my trip to Japan. The location is stunning with a lot of little restaurants and bars dotted around flanked by various tennis courts and football pitches. There is a shrine located at the top of a hill next to the resort which is a great place to see Mount Fuji in its entirety. There is also a very friendly goat. The onsens are a must try in this location. There's nothing like bathing at twilight with Mount Fuji lying in the background.
