"teamLab Borderless" is a unique and quirky "borderless" art world, where you can lose yourself while wandering and exploring the vast and mesmerizing works on display. For example, lose yourself in a forest of multi-colored lamps or the Multi Jumping Universe and feel like you are part of a sci-fi movie! Oh, and there's no map either! Allowing for maximum freedom in a stress-free environment!

teamLAB borderless is a great experience for people of all ages. Though It is one of the pricier attractions in the Odaiba area, it is definitely one of the most unique. Attractions vary from psychedelic light shows to visual illusions straight out of Doctor Strange, like an infinitely large room with streams of light flowing from the ceiling to the floor. I spent around 2 to 3 hours there with a couple of friends and we all had a blast. The only downside is that because of it's popularity, it can be very busy. Some attractions require you to wait in a line which can be a little off putting. Overall, would highly recommend.

While quite pricey, I would the experience is unique enough to justify it. So much so that I even went there on two separate occasions. Set aside around 2-3 hours to truly enjoy and take in the atmosphere. Can get quite packed during prime time, so try to visit on a weekday. Also wear comfortable shoes and avoid skirts as a many floors have reflective services.

A truly amazing experience. Definitely one of my most memorable experiences in Tokyo. I will intentionally try to keep my review basic so as to not spoil the experience because I think it is better going in ‘blind’ and am personally glad I went in without already knowing much about the artworks. The second floor was my favourite part of my visit. It has an ‘athletics forest’ including attractions such as a universe-themed trampoline and a light forest for bouldering/climbing. I’d recommend wearing comfortable clothing if you plan to participate in these attractions. The floating nest exhibit involves laying down on a giant net to watch a show projected on the walls & the ceiling. We queued for about 30 minutes and it was definitely worth the wait. There’s no maps which adds to the allure of the experience. A lot of rooms are hidden away so it’s definitely worth taking the time to ensure you explore as much as you can here. It’s quite busy even on weekdays. Including time spent queuing, I think 3 hours is a good amount of time to allocate here.

A very surreal experience that you have to see to believe. teamLab Borderless is an incredibly fun adventure that the whole family can and should enjoy while you are in Tokyo. It's hard to convey in words the sheer amount of enjoyment and excitement this place elicits in you, but I'll try my best. As soon as you enter the establishment, the tone is set for the rest of your visit, you are greeted with ethereal, endlessly moving artworks that captivate you immediately and that's just the first room. teamLab Borderless has no specific route or maps, so once your inside you just let go and let the artwork guide you from room to room. There are many different rooms inside, each one as elegant as the last and they all have a different theme that keeps the place feeling fresh and compelling. My personal favourite area was the crystal room, which looked like something straight out of a sci-fi movie, a vast array of LED lights dangle from the ceiling down to the mirrored floor, which gives the room an almost infinite feeling. This is an experience like no other and you should definitely stop by for a few hours and get lost in the the chaotic peacefulness that is teamLab Borderless.
